Research Services

Research services are provided by librarians who are expert in all areas of tax research:

  • Legislative history
  • Tax policy
  • Tax problems
  • Current tax issues
  • Information on specific tax issues
  • International tax issues
  • Tax treaties
  • Historical statistics

Our experienced staff also provide training and education in:

  • the methodology of tax research and the use of online databases
  • the use of TaxFind
  • the various tax resources available from commercial publishers, non-profit organizations, and government sources
  • Personal computers and photocopying services are available to all patrons.

Our services are available to members (and, within limits, to non-members) in person, by telephone, and online, through our Ask a Librarian service.  Training on tax research is also available to members.
